Team

The Zen Sicily team born from the collaboration of two cheerful families, the Sicilian Spatola and the German Thoma. We are gonna introduce you the members, one by one.

Martina

The latest addition to the family. Partner of Ignazio, she moved with him from Tuscany to follow him on this new adventure. In love with Sicily from the first day she set foot there, cheerful and always available, she brings her skills with her: graduated in Foreign Languages and Linguistics, she has been practicing yoga for several years before becoming a certificated teacher. Passionate and competent, she likes to study and learn: if you have a doubt just ask her, she will always have the answer!

Ignazio

The eldest son of Salvatore and Graziella, he bears the name of his grandfather with honor. After almost 15 years spent away from home for reasons of study and work, he decides to return to his homeland of which he has always felt a profound lack. Graduated in Law, passionate about drawing and mountain biking and with a past in the brewing field, he is capable and stubborn, succeeding perfectly in everything he does: from administration to gardening, from cooking to DIY, always followed by the faithful dog Minù. A true point of reference for the whole family and the structure

Salvatore

He is an expert in extra virgin olive oil, well known throughout Europe for his know-how and of course for the very high quality oil he produces. It is in fact after a long career as an agronomist that he decided to devote himself to the care of the farm of his father Don Ignazio, managing to transform the property over the past twelve years into the splendid and ecological place it is today. In short, it is his merit if international and local guests can enjoy such a beauty.

Graziella

She is the maternal soul of this land and of the house: a solar woman, always attentive to the well-being of her guests. She is also a true food artist for everyone’s delight. She keeps surprising us for the continuous desire for experimentation, creating excellent variations of traditional local dishes. Fruit jams straight from the organic garden, home-made cakes, herbal teas from the field, delicious pests made up with freshly picked fresh basil … breakfast is a legend among visitors, the rest is just for you to taste!

Roberta

Daughter of Salvatore and Graziella, professional graphic designer and Hatha Yoga Shivananda teacher, she is the junior head of the company. Responsible for the care of guests, from the first contact to the check-out. She is the strong element of the team, always full of energy and desire to do. Animated as it is by the burning fire of the Etna volcano, but with her feet firmly rooted in the fertile soil of Sicily, Roberta is the one who will make the difference in your ZenSicily holidays. Try to ask her the impossible, it doesn’t necessarily mean she can’t satisfy him.
