Case Don Ignazio is a family-run farm with organic certification, immersed in the suggestive landscape of the Val di Noto and surrounded by the relaxing Sicilian countryside.
The property stands on a bright hill a few kilometers far from the Ionian Sea, from which it is easy to enjoy the stunning landscape all around.
The ten hectares of land include the old farmhouse surrounded by a wide meadow, plus several plantation like an olive grove, carobs trees, an orchard, the aroma park, the organic vegetable garden and a small mill.
The family that manages the farm has always put the deep relationship ì between human being and nature at the center of its life philosophy. This is why the guests of Case Don Ignazio have complete freedom of movement within the property and are encouraged to fully live the beautiful countryside to enjoy the activities they prefer: from a simple walk, to meditation and yoga practice.
Case Don Ignazio offers two dedicated spaces for these kind of activities.
The Shala Om is a big renewed space which is part of the old farmhouse. Wood floor and white walls make it a simple and welcoming location to practice at any time.
The Yoga Yard is instead a wood construction located right in the middle of a the flowery meadow further away from the housing area, allowing a total
immersion in nature while enjoying the practice outside.
The farmhouse counts eight apartments made up of two-room apartments, studios and wooden cottages, and it can guarantee hospitality for up to 28 people. All accommodations are decorated in a rustic traditional style and provided with private bathroom, an equipped kitchenette, heating and air conditioning as well as an exclusive external patio.
A large lounge, created from the original barn of the farm, is also available to our guests for breakfasts, dinners and other moments of conviviality.
Case Don Ignazio sustains the organic and eco-compatible cultures. All meals are therefore made with organic products, inspired by simple and ancient recipes of the Sicilian tradition. The ingredients used in the kitchen are self-produced, absolutely healthy and pesticides free: flour, extra
virgin olive oil, carob, vegetables and fruit.
The organic Agriturismo Case don Ignazio cares about biodiversity and respect for the environment, with particular attention to health and harmony with natural cycles, thus committing to promote an idea of conscious tourism.
